Most freshers start Wipro prep by Googling 'Wipro NTH syllabus' and then cramming aptitude topics for two weeks. The problem: that's what everyone else is doing. The candidates who convert the NTH into an actual offer understand that the online test is only the first gate — the technical and HR rounds after it are where preparation gaps actually show up, and they look very different from aptitude test prep. This guide covers both.
Wipro Elite NTH vs NLTH — What's the Difference?
Elite NTH (National Talent Hunt) is Wipro's premium hiring program: higher CTC (₹6.5–7 LPA), requires 65%+ throughout academics, and the online test is harder. NLTH (National Level Talent Hunt) is the standard off-campus program: CTC of ₹3.5–4.5 LPA, lower academic cutoff (60%+), and the test is moderate difficulty.
Both routes eventually converge at the same interview process, but NLTH candidates have fewer career advancement options in the early years. If you're eligible for NTH, always target that track.
Wipro Online Assessment 2026 — Sections and Pattern
The Wipro online test has 3 sections:
(1) Aptitude — 16 questions in 16 minutes: time-speed-distance, percentage, profit-loss, number systems, data interpretation. Very fast-paced. (2) Verbal — 22 questions in 18 minutes: reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary. (3) Coding — 2 problems in 60 minutes: one easy (sorting, string manipulation) and one medium (basic DSA).
For Turbo track applicants, the coding section includes a harder problem. No negative marking on aptitude and verbal.
30-Day Wipro Test Preparation Plan
Before you start: take a diagnostic mock on PrepInsta's Wipro section. Your lowest-scoring section gets double the preparation time. Most engineering students are weakest on verbal — don't skip it just because it's uncomfortable.
Week 1: Practice 50 aptitude questions daily. Focus on percentage, time-speed-distance, and profit-loss — these appear every test.
Week 2: Verbal practice — RC passages from competitive exam books, grammar error spotting. If you scored below 50% on verbal in the diagnostic, spend 70% of this week here.
Week 3: Coding — solve 20 easy LeetCode problems (strings, arrays, basic sorting). Practice writing clean code quickly. Then begin technical interview prep: OOP concepts, basic SQL queries, OS fundamentals.
Week 4: Full mock tests — PrepInsta has Wipro-specific mocks. Time yourself ruthlessly — the aptitude section is designed to be impossible to complete if you're slow. In parallel, practice answering at least 5 behavioral questions out loud using STAR structure — this is for the HR round, which is not optional.
Wipro Technical Interview 2026
After clearing the online test, shortlisted candidates face TR (Technical Round) and HR. Technical Round topics: C/C++/Java fundamentals, OOPs concepts (inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, abstraction), DBMS (SQL queries, normalization), OS concepts (process scheduling, memory management), and 1 coding question (easy to medium).
HR is about cultural fit, location flexibility, and basic behavioral questions. Prepare 2–3 strong technical projects to discuss — even college projects work.
